The Ministry outlawed making things. You kept printing.
PhantomPlay is an isometric shooter about an outlaw 3D-printing rebel defending a teleporting safehouse in a fully destructible voxel city. Scavenge by day. Survive the hit squads by night. Blow up everything in between.
The loop:

  • ☀️ By day — raze buildings for filament, the material that feeds your printers. Every structure crumbles, craters, and collapses for real.
  • 🌙 By night — your shield dome rises and the Ministry's waves come for it. Print turrets, drones, and soldiers to hold the line.
  • ⚡ Push deeper — draw out each district's gate boss, steal its power core, and teleport your entire house into the next sector. Seven districts between you and the Relay Core.

Features:

  • Fully destructible voxel city with physics-driven collapse
  • Print-and-defend base building: turrets, drones, troops, research
  • Weapon ladder from pistol to rockets, all upgradeable
  • One-sitting campaign with a real ending — then Open City endless mode
  • Full controller support (Xbox / PlayStation / Switch / Deck glyphs), remappable everything
  • Accessibility: UI scaling, reduce flashing, colorblind modes, captions, aim assist
  • Assist options: soften damage, stretch the strike timer, boost filament — your game, your dials
  • Photo mode (F10) — wreck something beautiful, keep the receipt

Free. If it made you smile, the donation button keeps the printers running.

How this game was made

Entirely with AI. Every line of code, every model, every sound, every word — AI-generated, human-directed. Not one line written by hand.
PhantomPlay was built by one person over months of conversations with AI: hundreds of prompts driving tens of thousands of AI actions — writing the GDScript, sculpting the procedural art, tuning the balance, playtesting itself, and filing its own bug reports. The human job was creative direction: what to build, what felt wrong, and what "done" looks like.
The receipts are public. The whole project is MIT open source: github.com/PhantomPrints/Phantom-Dimension-Denied — every system inspectable, forkable, and free to learn from.
Curious whether it works? The game's above. Judge it like any other.
